في Shady Belle، يطلب Uncle من Arthur Morgan الانضمام إليه لسرقة ماشية من Hill Haven Ranch. ويقول إن المالك، Squears، يكون عادة مخمورا أكثر من أن يبدي مقاومة تذكر، ويعد Arthur بحصة مجزية من البيع. يوافق Arthur، وينطلق الاثنان عبر Scarlett Meadows في Lemoyne نحو المزرعة. وهناك، يجدان لصي ماشية آخرين يتفحصان ماشية Squears بالفعل.

- ◆Unlike as in other missions, none of the total take is added to the camp funds after the mission. Instead, the $100 given to the player by Clive Davies is split up between Uncle and Arthur, with the latter receiving 60 percent of the cut, as agreed in the opening cutscene.
- ◆At the very end of the mission, Uncle asks the player to ride back to camp with him. All missions with similar endings let the player choose to come along or refuse, whereas in this mission Arthur simply refuses.
- ◆If Squears is killed, his corpse will not despawn even after completing the mission.
- ◆This is the only companion activity to be only available at nighttime rather than during the day.
- ◆The player can obtain a Carcano Rifle early by entering the ranch house, waking up Squears, and taking him down to get his rifle. Additionally, one of the rustlers has a chance of dropping an M1899 Pistol if the player chooses to kill them.
