Shark ist eine gestrichene Tierart in Red Dead Redemption 2. Sie umfasst zwei Arten, den Tiger Shark, der auf Galeocerdo cuvier basiert, und den Hammerhead Shark, der auf Sphyrna mokarran basiert.
Beide Haiarten sind den Gewässern von Guarma zugeordnet. Sie kommen in Bahía de la Paz und im Meer vor der Küste von Guarma vor.
Diese Gebiete sind für den Spieler normalerweise nicht erreichbar. Haie werden dort nur durch Glitches oder Modding angetroffen.

- ◆Sharks will not attack the player.
- ◆However, there are unused animations for a shark attacking a swimmer near Cinco Torres.
- ◆They will not be highlighted while using Eagle Eye like other animals do. In addition, they cannot be studied; however, any photos of them will automatically tag the sharks on Rockstar Games Social Club. Also unlike most other animals, sharks don't have a Compendium entry.
- ◆Sharks only spawn when returning to or entering Guarma early in areas that aren't meant to be explored by the player and can only be seen via exploits. This goes for both the out of map location at the end of the western part of the Guarma map and Bahía de la Paz that is restricted to players via invisible sniper. One shark, however, will spawn inside of the normally playable area but only upon returning to or entering Guarma early.
- ◆Tiger Sharks will spawn as one of three colors: silver, matte, or orange.
- ◆Sharks that wash up onto shore will die and have their tail bent or drooping in an odd manner.
- ◆Textures, a model, and scripts for a discoverable dead Tiger Shark still exist within the game files. Evidence suggests the player would've opened its mouth and possibly taken one of its teeth, implying the Shark Tooth Trinket may have originally been intended to be crafted. The dead tiger shark was reused for the Cayo Perico Heist in GTA: Online.
- ◆A rainbow version using the same model as the Tiger Shark is used in a Shark advertisement, added during the Arena War update in GTA: Online.
