Los Night Folk son asesinos silenciosos que operan en los pantanos de Lemoyne, por Bayou Nwa y Bluewater Marsh. Curiosidades
- ◆Evidence of rituals performed by the Night Folk can be found in various places of the map, such as Butcher Creek. A pentagram can be seen here at night, and in West Elizabeth, there is a ritual site that possesses the same sigils that can be seen around their other territories such as Lakay.
- ◆Despite the similarities with Afro-Caribbean religions like Voodoo and Palo Mayombe, the Night Folk are more a depraved cult based in twisted religious beliefs than a Voodoo branch properly said, especially due to their habits of isolation and ritual murder.
- ◆The Night Folk are among the only four enemies in the game that can kill a player in a single hit, regardless of their statistics. The other three include the Vampire, the Hermit, and Sheriff Freeman.
- ◆The Night Folk share a number of similarities with the cannibals from Bone Tomahawk, who also cover themselves completely in the dirt and make no sound, aside from animal calls.
- ◆The Night Folk are quite similar to the Skinner Brothers, found in Tall Trees, West Elizabeth and the Murfree Brood, found across Roanoke Ridge, owing to all three gangs' extreme brutality, savagery and them being more akin to a band of crazed serial killers than a gang of outlaws.
- ◆The Night Folk are the only rival gang to have random encounters that specifically revolve around targeting the player's horse with the intent to kill it.
- ◆If you capture Lindsey Wofford alive during his bounty quest, you'll be tasked with bringing him to the Saint Denis Police Department. Upon approaching the office with Wofford in stow, Arthur will remark that their journey is almost at an end. To this, Wofford cries out, "I hope the Night Folk get you, you son of a bitch. And hang you from a tree."
- ◆Evidenced by Philip Carlier, a man who was a civilized citizen of Saint Denis, it appears the Night Folk accept those disheveled by society into their ranks despite being mostly hostile to anyone who travels in their territory.
- ◆In Bayou Nwa, there's a cabin called Bayall Edge that while the Night Folk might rarely spawn by, it is otherwise completely untouched by them. Assuming this isn't an oversight, this could mean that they might somehow have a connection with the Strange Man, or they either respect, and/or fear him enough to not disturb any of his property as even the inside of the cabin is still in perfect condition.
