Anecdotes

◆Khan's name could be a reference to "Shere Khan", the man-eating tiger antagonist of Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book.
◆The game files lists Khan as a cougar, as it shares many characteristics with an actual cougar.
◆He is the only legendary animal that is not part of any animal species in the game.
◆Jaguars' range in real life reached into the southwestern U.S. and northern Mexico; by 1911, many of them were exterminated, primarily by human activity. Some individuals still live there in the modern era.
◆Khan is the only jaguar in the entire Red Dead series that can be encountered. The Legendary Giaguaro Panther from Redemption 2 has a similar name and spots, but is of indeterminate species, since it simply resembles a cougar with rosettes.
◆Despite being called a jaguar his appearance is more of a leopard, you can tell it because jaguars have bigger rosettes with inner spots while leopards have smaller rosettes without inner spots
