- ◆Real-world Cleveland Bays originated in England during the 17th century, and are always bay in color. They are usually well-muscled, and have legs that are short in relation to the body. They are light-weight and good at pulling carriages and wagons.
- ◆In Red Dead Redemption 2, despite not appearing in the game, the Cleveland Bay's texture was remade and used as a template for nearly all horse textures in the game. Their characteristic snip can be seen on a handful of the game's horses, and the deceased horse John rode during the Blackwater Massacre has identical markings and is the same color.
