Le Missouri Fox Trotter est une race de cheval de taille moyenne dans Red Dead Redemption 2 et Red Dead Online. Il associe les types de chevaux Race et Work, ce qui le place dans la classe Race / Work plutôt que dans une catégorie spécialisée unique. Sa constitution lui confère une vitesse supérieure à celle d'une grande partie de cette classe, tout en conservant des attributs généraux modérés. Il possède une maniabilité Standard, avec une réactivité et une agilité modérées.
Dans Red Dead Redemption 2, l'Amber Champagne Missouri Fox Trotter est vendu à l'écurie de Scarlett Meadows, tandis que le Silver Dapple Pinto est vendu à l'écurie de Blackwater. Les deux robes standard coûtent 950 $. La race affiche une vitesse de 7 et une accélération de 5, ainsi que 5 en santé et 6 en endurance, ce qui en fait une monture rapide dotée d'une solide endurance pour un cheval Race / Work.

Anecdotes
- ◆NPCs will give out positive comments to the player when riding a horse of this breed.
- ◆At $950, the breed was the most expensive cash-purchasable horse in Red Dead Online prior to the introduction of Roles. The latter update of which released horse breeds of the same price.
- ◆During the random encounter where the woman's horse "Biscuit" has died and she needs a ride to Emerald Ranch, a glitch can occur where the horse, a female Silver Dapple Pinto, will be found alive and can be claimed.
- ◆Similarly, a woman needing a ride to Lagras will also have a Silver Dapple Pinto that will occasionally spawn alive. One way to ensure this is to go stand upon Face Rock where the event spawns by, aim with a sniper rifle at the road below, after which the event should spawn, so long as the encounter has not been completed by the player prior, and keep shooting the lady. This causes both her and her horse to respawn, and eventually, it should respawn alive, and be claimed by the player. This will result in a significant Honor loss however, depending on how long it takes to spawn a live horse.
- ◆Another alternative way to obtain the Silver Dapple Pinto variant as Arthur is after the third encounter with Albert Mason. While herding the horses, go into Eagle Eye, track the Silver Dapple Pinto and then exit Eagle Eye while staying focused on the horse's trail. Once Mason photographs the herd, go to him and skip the cutscene as soon as it starts. Then follow the horse's trail carefully and patiently, as the trail can be lost and the tracking process can last approximately up to 10 minutes. Once you find the horse, jump on the horse to break her, then ride to the nearest stable without dismounting to saddle or stable the horse. Save the game and load the save file you just made, then the horse will be yours to keep. Additionally, if the player is quick enough, after skipping the cutscene they can just sprint in the direction of where the herd runs without using Eagle Eye until they catch up to the Fox Trotter, and then jump on, break, ride to the stables, then save and reload the game as normal.
- ◆Because of these oversights, the Silver Dapple Pinto along with the Dark Bay Turkoman are the only two horses whose coat colors are supposed to only be available in the Epilogue that are also completely obtainable in the main story.
- ◆The Black Tovero, despite having the same stats as other Missouri Fox Trotters, is the most expensive gold-exclusive purchase in Red Dead Online.
