- ◆Bobcats do not appear in Undead Nightmare. They were originally going to be in Redemption 2 but were scrapped. They are also the only animal from the first game not to return in the second.
- ◆Despite not returning as an actual animal in Redemption 2, a decorative belt buckle, available to the player via Outlaw Pass No. 4, seemingly depicts an anthropomorphized bobcat in a desert scene, wearing a similar hat and poncho to Javier Escuella's outfit from Story Mode.
- ◆Additionally, the presence of unused Compendium and item images suggest that the bobcat was originally present in Redemption 2, but was presumably scrapped late into development.
