Wanted Level in Grand Theft Auto VI

The Wanted Level in Grand Theft Auto VI is a system that determines how wanted the player, controlling Jason Duval or Lucia Caminos, is by the police in Grand Theft Auto VI. As seen in the Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look, the six-star Wanted Level returns after Grand Theft Auto V used a five-star system. The six-star system was previously used in GTA IV and Chinatown Wars. As seen in the Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look, the six-star feature returns, last seen in the mainline GTA IV entry, as well as the Chinatown Wars spin-off. Unlike previous entries, Grand Theft Auto VI's Wanted Level introduces a system in which law enforcement can obtain information about the player, including their clothing, vehicle, physical appearance, and sightings captured by CCTV cameras. This information is represented by red icons displayed below the Wanted Level stars. Police require an NPC to witness the crime or for an alarm to be set off for the Wanted Level to start rising.
