◆In the Tumbleweed cemetery, there is a tombstone of a woman named Grace Blankenship who died in 1907 and is survived by 'loving husband Jeb', making it possible that Jeb was so saddened and distraught at the death of his wife that he turned his love to a horse in an attempt to console his grief.
◆A line from the bartender in Tumbleweed in 1907 from Red Dead Redemption 2 seems to support this.
◆Another grave in Tumbleweed can be found for a woman named named Estella Blankenship who died in 1895, though her relation to Jeb, if any, is unknown.
