◆Hassun's name is of Blackfoot origin, meaning "stone".
◆His character model is available in the Outfitter under the name Jeevan Guni.
◆Before the release of Red Dead Redemption, Hassun was one of five Native outlaws who were meant to be bounty targets, alongside Kosumi, Enepay, Helaku, and Nashoba. They were scrapped before the game's release.
◆Hassun appears during one trailer for Red Dead Redemption, in which he wields a Schofield Revolver.
◆He never appears in Free Roam, like other members of Dutch's Gang.
◆Hassun's facial features look very similar to Dakota's. But there is a slight difference in their noses. Dakota has a much wider tip of his nose.
◆Hassun also has a much darker skin than Dakota.
◆Him and Chogan are the only Native Americans that can be seen performing odd or manual jobs.
◆Like Chogan, Hassun will not outright respond menacingly or threateningly when insulted, instead assuming the player wishes to fight him. He may also be more eager to apologize if bumped into.
◆Unlike Hassun, Americus Roe and Melvin Spinney, two Unaffiliated criminals, can never be seen working at the Manzanita Post.
