◆He shares the same head model with Lee Lock and Chan Chut.
◆He shares the same outfit with Rafael Carillo, Santos Guardado and Chogan.
◆He wears the same hat as Wilton Glover, Morris Snead, Gus McCallum and Buck Whitmore.
◆Ling is one of the poorer Chinese characters in the game, and is probably paid below the minimum wage, probably working just to meet a day's end in El Matadero, along with fellow Chinese workers, like Zhou, Chan Chut, Chu Fook and Choy Lin, but not Chow Hoy.
◆His fluency in English appears to be very good or at least better than that of most Chinese characters, except Chu Fuk Choi.
◆His name is actually a popular Chinese name in his culture and translates to a "happy-go-lucky" wanderer or a "smiling and proud" wanderer. However, it is also ironic given Ling's work at El Matadero. Additionally, his name is more correctly spelled as Linghu Chung, without a Wu.
◆His name could also be a reference to Wing Chung, a fighting style popularized by the Chinese-American actor Bruce Lee.
