- ◆S.M. Neely Ship Chandler and Grocer was very likely the store where Arthur Morgan purchased his journal, as he states in his first journal entry that he acquired a new one while residing in Blackwater, his previous one being lost in a fire a several months prior to the Blackwater Massacre.
- ◆Similarly to Coopers General Store in Strawberry, in Red Dead Redemption 2 the store sells a small selection of guns and a wider range of ammunition because Blackwater doesn't have a Gunsmith. The guns offered are the Schofield Revolver, Litchfield Repeater, and Pump-Action Shotgun.
- ◆Occasionally, the Police Chief will walk inside and talk to the shopkeeper.
