• ◆Arthur and Hosea were originally going to wear unique outfits during this mission for their roles of Melvin and Fenton, which consisted of blue stitched-up overalls, long fake beards and wide-brimmed hats. These outfits were cut from the final game, but can be found and restored from the game files.
• ◆There is a typo in the subtitles for Part I, in which "looking" is spelled as "lookng".
• ◆If they wish, the player can skip Part I by going straight to Hosea and John.
• ◆If Arthur has completed "Preaching Forgiveness as He Went" before this mission, he will comment on the Lemoyne Raiders at the start of the gunfight, calling them "the bastards from Shady Belle".
• ◆This is one of the few missions in the game where the player will not incur an Honor loss for killing horses, the other ones being "Urban Pleasures", "The Fine Art of Conversation" and "Our Best Selves".
• ◆The train car that appears near the start of the mission only appears a few times throughout the game, featuring beds for passengers; although no passengers are present in it during the mission.
• ◆During the shootout in the saloon, there is a unique Lemoyne Raider with a full, yellow mask who is believed to never appear anywhere else in the game. Despite this, the appearance of this Raider is randomized and will spawn as one of thirty-three masked men everytime the mission reloads.
• ◆The cut Rhodes Doctor and a fiddle player for Rhodes were originally intended to also be seen drunk in the saloon during this mission.
• ◆The player will have unlimited ammunition during the escape from the saloon.
• ◆After this mission if the player goes back to the saloon, Arthur may get recognized as "Fenton".
• ◆If the player alerts a witness, Hosea will react to it and command the player to prevent the witness from reporting to the law. The same applies in "The Spines of America".
