• ◆If the player tries to collect the locations of the carvings before officially beginning the mission by speaking to Francis, they will only be able to collect nine of them. If the player approaches the final carving before meeting with Sinclair, no prompt will appear to record its location.
• ◆Outside the cabin, there is a fairly visible mound of dirt. It is possible that Francis' father is buried there, since his mother says that the aforementioned died approximately "one year ago".
• ◆If the protagonist finds some of the rock carvings before meeting Francis, they will show him the drawings of them in the journal and Francis will tell them to find the rest of them.
• ◆One of the rock carvings depicts a double helix, despite the latter not being discovered until 1953. This could be related to the fact that Francis Sinclair may potentially be a time traveller.
