Ammu-Nation

Ammu-Nation is a chain of gun stores founded in the late 1950s or early 1960s. Its name combines "ammunition" and "nation", and its outlets use patriotic imagery, including battle flags in some stores. The business sells firearms, ammunition and body armor, alongside weapons ranging from machetes to RPGs. Its listed operations extend across San Andreas, Ludendorff, North Yankton and Leonida, with AmmuNation.net and the phone number 19999327667 associated with the chain.

Strict gun laws shut Ammu-Nation out of Liberty City under Mayor Julio Ochoa. Dimitri Rascalov says Ochoa also pursued cases against stores in other states, while gun buyers turn to illegal shops and mobile dealers. By 2009, the chain returns to Liberty City through an online delivery service. In Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, orders placed through its PDA website arrive by truck at a safehouse, and its scratch cards can award armor or weapons.

In Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online, Ammu-Nation operates throughout Los Santos and Blaine County. Stores sell weapons, ammunition, armor and weapon modifications, while some rural branches advertise hunting, fishing or survival gear. Two Los Santos outlets contain shooting ranges, at Downtown Los Santos and Cypress Flats. The chain's stores also carry different radio stations by area, and its stock is traded through BAWSAQ. Ammu-Nation later receives excess Bunker goods through a Gunrunning contract.
