Eris, also called Eris Footwear, is a sportswear and fashion company led by founder and board member Pete Vassal. In Liberty City and Alderney, it maintains inaccessible shops at Dillon Street Building in Downtown Broker, and on Manzano Road and Long John Avenue in Leftwood. Although its goods cannot be worn in Grand Theft Auto IV, pedestrians wear Eris clothing, shoes and backpacks. A shoebox holding one shoe sits in Playboy X's penthouse.

In 2008, Pete Vassal is involved in a steroid scandal. A Public Liberty Online journalist accuses Eris of using unethical labour practices in Africa and Southeast Asia, including forcing local communities into slave labour. Vassal states that the company's products carry a 10,000% markup, and makes remarks about children needing little sleep and women being able to multitask. The journalist dismisses his statement as capitalist propaganda aimed at Weazel News viewers.

In San Andreas, Eris shoeboxes appear in Sub Urban and Discount Store branches, while Leopolds in Rockford Hills features the brand. Eris clothing is sold through accessible clothing stores. Golfers at the golf club, including Glenn Mather and Todd Rosenweig, wear Eris sweaters, and lifeguard units sometimes use Eris lifejackets. In the first Grand Theft Auto VI trailer, a dirt biker wears black and white Eris sneakers. The company has a redesigned logo and supplies jerseys for the Vice City Manatees football team.
