Its earliest described appearance is in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, where MeTV News operates as a mock news channel on the game's official website. Jenny Mitchell hosts the reports, and Phil Herrick appears as a reporter. The material does not identify a broadcast location for that version of the network.
In Grand Theft Auto IV, MeTV has an office in Star Junction, Algonquin, Liberty City. The building is known as the MeTV Building. Its theme can be downloaded as a phone ringtone from Vipluxuryringtones.com, while Lazlow mentions an MeTV programme featuring former comedians making sarcastic remarks. The network's presence is otherwise limited to these references and its Liberty City office.
Grand Theft Auto V shows MeTV advertising Prison Bitches on a billboard. The network's Bleeter account announces the cancellation of Hot Horny Teen Moms and Redneck Racists, and says that Tourettes Swingers will return for another season. No official trailer, screenshot or August 2026 Extended Look has publicly confirmed MeTV's appearance in Grand Theft Auto VI.
