Vulcar

Vulcar is a Swedish automotive manufacturer associated with high-quality vehicles and a reputation for safety. In Grand Theft Auto V, pedestrians can be heard discussing the safety of Vulcars. The Southern San Andreas Super Autos description for the Ingot calls it the safest car ever made and presents it as a vehicle for poor drivers. Vulcar's vehicles draw on Swedish, Japanese and European automotive designs.

The company also runs Vulcar Racing Division, or VRD, its high-performance branch. VRD branding appears on Nebula Turbo liveries, while the model's standard wheels carry the words "Vulcar Racing". Vulcar has produced vehicles including the Ingot, Warrener, Fagaloa and Nebula Turbo. The Liberator was briefly mislabeled as a Vulcar in some pre-race menus before later updates corrected it to Vapid.

For Grand Theft Auto VI, Vulcar remains active through Vulcar Marine, a division that manufactures watercraft engines and parts. Publicly available material identifies the marine division, but does not show any story events, personnel or locations connected with the company. Its known presence ends with Vulcar Marine.
