WhatUp!

WhatUp! is an instant messaging application due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI. Its name is seen in material connected with the game, and the service has a website domain, what-up.app, which was temporarily registered under Take-Two Interactive's nameservers in September 2025.

A September 2022 leak shows a notification at the right side of the screen during gameplay from an undisclosed mission at the Jack of Hearts strip club. The notification reads, "WhatUp! message received", indicating that the application is used for messaging on the in-game mobile phone.

WhatUp! also appears in an official screenshot of Lucia Caminos. Her phone lies on a towel beside her with the app selected on its home screen. The app's title is faintly visible, including the "W" and the exclamation mark.
