Meltdown

Meltdown is a 2013 drama from Richards Majestic Productions, directed by Anton Beaudelaire and written and produced by Gaylord Menzies, Jeffrey J. Bokowski and Beaudelaire. Michael De Santa becomes its associate producer after Solomon Richards brings him onto the production. Milton McIlroy plays Dylan, alongside John Cohn as Chip, Theodore Bickford as Abner Fitch, Charlie Fleming as Miranda and Chippy as Monkey.

The film follows two business investors in Liberty City whose former mentor intends to wipe out every business in The Exchange. The pair chase him with their monkey in a satirical car pursuit. Its dialogue mocks business-film conventions, while Dylan breaks the fourth wall by dwelling on movie trailers and the film's title. Although Abner Fitch says Miranda will remain silent to cut costs, she speaks briefly near the end.

Meltdown premieres in Los Santos with Maze Bank as sponsor and Weazel News covering the event. It later plays in the city's cinemas from 6 pm to 10 pm, preceded by a trailer for The Simian, and remains available in Grand Theft Auto Online cinemas and the Master Penthouse Media Room. In an official Grand Theft Auto VI video, a DVD copy appears on a shelf in a 24/7 store alongside other films.
