Chino Custom

The Vapid Chino Custom is a two-door Muscle-class lowrider with room for two people. It begins as a standard Chino converted at Benny's Original Motor Works for $180,000. The custom version keeps the coupe's basic front and rear styling, but adds larger CHINO badges on the rear fenders beside the tail lights.

Its cabin remains close to that of the regular Chino. The rear trim is smoother and incorporates two speakers. Beneath the body, a paintable frame, exposed driveshaft, twin exhaust pipes and hydraulic bars are visible. The body, stitching and lower frame use the primary colour, while the seat inserts use the secondary colour. Interior and dial colours can also be changed.

The Chino Custom comes with Big Worm lowrider wheels and white-wall tyres. A heavy V8 sends power to the rear wheels through a four-speed gearbox, sharing its engine note with the Chino, Buccaneer and Manana. Compared with the standard Chino, it accelerates more strongly, reaches a slightly higher top speed and responds more readily through corners, despite a marginally wider extreme turning radius.
