- ◆After he is killed, Müller's death is covered in the next newspaper edition in-game. His article mentions Müller as being a "shining citizen" of Chuparosa.
- ◆Müller says the word "fuck" more than any character in Red Dead Redemption. In his short single-mission appearance, he says the word a total of 5 times. While the word "fuck" was in use as a profane exclamation at the time the game was set, it's usage didn't become more common until well into the 20th century. The word is of direct German origin, which could explain Müller's tendency to use it.
- ◆While it may seem out of place for a German immigrant to be living in poverty-stricken Mexico, this was actually not uncommon for the time. Mexico was a popular destination for migrants, and became the home of many non-Spanish European immigrants in the 19th and early 20th centuries, particularly from Germany and neighbouring countries such as Poland and Austria-Hungary.
- ◆The player can kill Müller while he is walking to the duel spot, but they will fail the mission.
- ◆Very rarely, there is a glitch where, if Müller accidentally dies before the duel, the characters around Marston freeze. The only way to escape this is to restart the game or if the player uses dynamite or fire Bottle to kill themselves.
- ◆The player can actually cheat by using the Elegant Suit, but no money will be awarded.
- ◆Sometimes, Müller will use a Semi-automatic Pistol in his duel. However, the gun will change to a Schofield Revolver when he is killed.
