- โHixon appears not to be very fond of government interference, as he can tell John Marston that his soldiers don't know who's giving the orders anymore.
- โHis name is never revealed within the game.
- โIn Undead Nightmare, if Marston is to start throwing Undead Bait over the wall, Hixon may either push Marston out of the Fort or start shooting him.
- โA unique American Army Captain model can be spotted outside of John Marston's barn in "The Last Enemy That Shall Be Destroyed". This captain has white gloves like the models from Red Dead Redemption 2 and a different face with a mustache and is seen holding a High Power Pistol. If he is killed, it makes no difference to the cutscene where John Marston dies.
