- โHis character model is available in the Outfitter under the name Sanisuni Wagi.
- โHis name is of Native American origin; in this culture, Helaku means "Full of Sun".
- โBefore the release of the game, he, Hassun, Enepay, Kosumi, and Nashoba were meant to be bounty targets but were scrapped before the game was available to the public.
- โDuring "Great Men Are Not Always Wise" it is possible to stop the execution of the banker by killing Helaku first. Once Helaku is dead, the unnamed man will flee before the other malefactors exit the bank.
- โHe has the most appearances in missions out of all members in Dutch's Gang.
- โIn Undead Nightmare, an undead model of him appears on a loading screen in Great Plains. Despite this, his undead model does not appear in the final game.
- โHis head model looks similar to Kohana's. Only differences are that Helaku has a huge scar across his face while Kohana doesn't, Helaku's skin is lighter than Kohana's and his eyes are brown while Kohana's is blue.
