  • โ—†Salvador appears to be a lieutenant (Teniente) of the Federales in Chuparosa, as he wears a hat with two vertical gold bars. The same insignia is used by law enforcement agencies in the United States but denote the rank of captain instead.
  • โ—†If encountered in Casa Madrugada, Salvador will not directly interfere with any crimes the player commits unless they affect him personally.
  • โ—†During "The Mexican Wagon Train", several uniformed Federales identical to his character model are seen escorting the prison convoy and guarding the bridge crossing between Nuevo Paraiso and New Austin. If one of these models is indeed intended to be Salvador Vegas, it would mean he is personally also working for the Mexican Army.
  • โ—†Unlike the other uniformed Federales, Salvador does not have a bounty poster. This, along with the fact that he continues to oversee the transfer of bounties even after "An Appointed Time", indicate that Abraham Reyes has kept him and a small number of other former Allende supporters in office rather than honor his "promise" to get rid of them.
  • โ—†Salvador is one of the shorter characters in the game, being around the same height as Mateo Clisante.
  • โ—†Like the criminal Julian Coronado, Salvador wears a brown satchel over his chest. Both also have similarly coloured clothing, however with Vegas, it's a part of his uniform.
  • โ—†When insulted, he will refer to himself in third person.
  • โ—†Salvador's English appears to be rather poor and he will speak it in a broken manner during poker games or when giving the player their bounty money.
