- โIf the player decides to kill Vernon in the mission "On Shaky's Ground", Vernon can still be seen in his usual locations afterwards, just like most other NPC's that are killed in missions.
- โVernon bears a striking resemblance to Jacob Ostenhaus, Gonzalo Barajas and Earl Driscoll's outfits, save the hat, but has the same face model as Floyd Brogles, Archie Nevers, Ernest Seahorn, Lewis Shelton, Randall Forrester, Alvin McCready, Felix Middleton, Lewis Pickering, and E.H. Kretzschmar.
