Trivia
- โSetting up a campsite then traveling from it may glitch the Dark Horse, causing it to lose its saddle and act like a wild horse. When the player whistles, a saddled Dark Horse appears.
- โIf the Dark Horse is used in a mission where certain characters must be followed on horseback, the Dark Horse may not be able to keep up.
- โIn the beta for Red Dead Redemption 2, Micah Bell's horse Baylock originally had the same markings Dark Horse has, minus the scarring. However, his design was changed completely in order to make him more distinct: he was given blue eyes, an asymmetrical face pattern, and two front socks.
- โThe wounds on the Dark Horse's legs are almost identical to those seen on Pestilence.
