Hera

Hera is a medium-sized Work/War horse with a Dark Bay Roan coat. His coat carries an unusual purple cast, and his battered-looking fur bears numerous marks. He has a star on his forehead, with a black mane, tail and feathering. His brown eyes contrast with purple-toned skin and hooves. Hera replaces Sadie Adler's earlier horse, Bob, and remains associated with Sadie during 1907.

Hera has Standard handling. His speed is rated at 3 and his acceleration at 2, while both health and stamina are rated at 4. As a Work/War horse, he combines those stronger health and stamina ratings with more modest pace and acceleration. His medium build places him between the smaller and larger horses used across the game.

Hera is found near Sadie Adler and is used as her mount during her bounty hunting work. He appears with her outside Smithfield's Saloon while she pursues Nathan Kirk, then accompanies her around Blackwater and on further bounty jobs involving John Marston. Sadie also rides Hera to Beecher's Hope before leaving on another hunt. He is last seen with Sadie as she departs during the credits.
