El Legendary Tatanka Bison es un bisonte legendario de Red Dead Redemption 2 y Red Dead Online. Está basado en el bisonte, un gran herbívoro que se alimenta de grano, heno y maíz. En el modo historia, tiene el pelaje corto negro y pelo gris claro y espeso alrededor de la joroba y la cabeza. En Online, el blanco de la cabeza y el lomo lo distingue de los bisontes negros comunes.
En Red Dead Redemption 2 habita Hennigan's Stead, en New Austin. En Red Dead Online pasta cerca de Heartland Overflow, en The Heartlands, New Hanover. Es más grande y resistente que los animales corrientes, por lo que requiere más disparos para matarlo o sedarlo y puede huir aun después de recibir heridas. Si se le provoca en Online, carga contra su agresor.

- ◆This the only legendary animal that appears in both Online and Story mode. However, its appearance varies slightly between the two, having more white fur on its head and hump in Online.
