Le Zirconium Journey est un camping-car deux places de classe A appartenant à la catégorie Vans. Sa carrosserie anguleuse et patinée s'inspire des camping-cars de la fin des années 1970, notamment des modèles de 1977 à 1980. Il possède un large pare-chocs avant, des calandres superposées, des phares carrés, un auvent latéral et des aérations de toit, tandis que son intérieur usé contient des placards, des plans de travail, un lit, une cuisinière et un évier.
Le Journey apparaît fréquemment dans Blaine County, notamment à Grapeseed en venant de Sandy Shores. Un exemplaire stationné se trouve devant une maison blanche près de Joshua Road, au nord de Harmony et au sud du pont ferroviaire, et plusieurs peuvent apparaître près de la fresque Beam Me Up. Il peut également être obtenu durant le Random Event Abandoned Vehicles après s'être occupé des deux hillbillies hostiles.
Son moteur diesel à traction avant confère à ce lourd camping-car une accélération et une maniabilité acceptables, bien que sa vitesse de pointe ne soit que moyenne pour sa catégorie. À vive allure, son poids provoque un fort sous-virage, et des coups de volant brusques peuvent le faire basculer sur le côté. Le Journey résiste aux dégâts, mais il est mal adapté à une fuite.
Anecdotes
- ◆The Journey depicted in a sign at Larry's RV Sales has a seemingly clean body. However, it is otherwise never seen without the rust. A clean variant, called Journey II, was introduced to GTA Online in the Los Santos Drug Wars update.
- ◆Similarly, one of the portraits found inside the Yellow Jack Inn depicts a Journey with a slightly different paintjob, having wide stripes at the lower and middle side painted in a secondary color.
- ◆The Journey has two cornets on the top, as if they were either a truck horn or a musical horn. However, a normal horn is used instead.
- ◆In a 3-friend hangout, one of the characters won't be able to sit inside the Journey, despite it being a 6-seat vehicle. This character also won't make snarky comments about there not being enough seats on the vehicle they would otherwise say about vehicles with insufficient seats.
- ◆The player normally would not be able to enter the back seats of a Journey if both of the front seats are not occupied, but this can be bypassed by blocking the front doors with other vehicles so that the protagonist cannot perform the entering animation, thus forcing them to enter the back seats.
- ◆As described in Crank Up the Volume and Meth'd Up, the Journey is used as a meth lab, a possible reference to the Fleetwood Bounder that appears as a meth lab in the show Breaking Bad, although it resembles the Winnebago from Spaceballs more in appearance.
