L'Übermacht Sentinel est une voiture de catégorie Coupes de taille moyenne dans Grand Theft Auto V, conçue comme un cabriolet hard-top à quatre places. Sa carrosserie utilise une couleur de peinture principale, tandis que les sections inférieures avant et latérales, les rétroviseurs et le toit rétractable adoptent une couleur secondaire. Des surpiqûres assorties apparaissent dans l'habitacle.
La Sentinel de GTA V reprend l'essentiel de sa silhouette de la BMW M3 E93. Sa calandre monobloc diffère de la calandre à double haricot de BMW et donne à l'avant une certaine ressemblance avec la BMW 3 Series E92, tandis que ses feux arrière rappellent ceux de la BMW 6 Series E63. La voiture possède de grandes prises d'air avant, des doubles phares circulaires entourés de chrome, une lèvre de coffre et des sorties d'échappement ovales intégrées au pare-chocs arrière peint.
La Sentinel partage son design de jantes avec la Feltzer et la Fusilade, correspondant aux jantes Sport "Organic Type D" disponibles chez Los Santos Customs. Elle peut transporter quatre personnes et coûte $28,000.
Anecdotes
- ◆The vehicle's name is likely a reference to being a stereotypical vehicle for wealthy people, bodyguards and gangsters.
- ◆As with other Übermacht vehicles, the Sentinel's name is a reference to The Matrix franchise, in this case being a reference to s, a race of autonomous machine at war with humans.
- ◆After the 1.10 update, both the Sentinel and its XS variant have been reclassed to a "Sports" car, instead of its former "Coupes" category. The reason for the sudden category change is unknown and somewhat inaccurate due to the fact that it is a compact executive coupe rather than a sports car. However, this was reverted back to the "Coupes" category, along with all of Übermacht's vehicles, in the 1.11 update.
- ◆In the official gameplay trailer, Amanda's Sentinel appears as the example to customize vehicles in Los Santos Customs.
- ◆If Amanda's Sentinel is taken by Franklin or Trevor in GTA V, Michael will text the player, saying "I'd put the car back before Amanda takes a contract out on you. bro" or "Amanda knows you've got her car, and she's on the warpath".
- ◆If Franklin or Trevor drives a Sentinel stolen from a civilian to Michael's house, Michael will still text them as though it was Amanda's Sentinel.
- ◆If the player takes Amanda's Sentinel and then calls someone to hang out, it will be locked when dropping them off. It is possible to fix this by switching to another character then switching back to the first one.
