Bob Crawford Jr. vit avec son père, Bob Crawford Sr., à Carmody Dell, dans The Heartlands de New Hanover. Rancher, il reste sur la propriété tandis que son père garde une diligence qui est volée et attire par la suite l'attention de Seamus. Seamus est également lié à la famille Crawford, étant le cousin issu de germain par alliance de Bob Jr.
Seamus envoie Hosea Matthews et Arthur Morgan prendre la diligence, leur demandant de faire leurs preuves à ses yeux. Hosea crée une diversion pour Bob Crawford Sr. et Bob Jr. devant la maison. À l'intérieur, Bob Jr. dort dans sa chambre pendant qu'Arthur fouille la maison et prend des objets de valeur. Arthur rejoint ensuite Hosea tandis qu'il s'empare de la diligence. Le bruit du vol alerte les deux Crawford que leur maison a été cambriolée.
Arthur et Hosea quittent Carmody Dell avec la diligence sans être détectés. Après le cambriolage, Bob Crawford Jr. choisit de quitter son père comme le ranch.
Anecdotes
- ◆Both Bob Crawford Jr. and his father can be killed, against the wishes of Seamus. Doing so will decrease the player's Honor.
- ◆He only appears during the mission and cannot be encountered afterward.
- ◆If the player returns to Carmody Dell and encounters Bob Crawford Sr., the latter will become hostile and tell them to get off the property. If defused, Crawford will tell the player that he is being cautious because someone has robbed him and that his son has left him.
- ◆In the mission "The Spines of America", if the player alerts Crawford during the night approach, he will alert his father and will use a Cattleman Revolver to attack the player.
- ◆Bob Crawford Jr., Nate Davison, and the kid locked in Jasper Feeney's basement are the only youngsters in the game who can be harmed and murdered by the player. All other youngsters and teenagers, most infamously the Saint Denis street urchins, are impossible to kill or harm, no matter the weaponry used against them.
- ◆In the Beta version of the game, according to cut voice lines that still remain in the game files, the player initially had the ability to threaten Bob Crawford Jr. in his bed just like his father, and Arthur would ask Junior where the money was hidden, but he would say that only his father knows about the hidden money's location. This was cut due to its ruthlessness.
