Le Lancaster Repeater est une carabine à levier dans Red Dead Redemption 2 et Red Dead Online. Son mécanisme à levier rapide chambre vite la cartouche suivante, et elle contient quatorze cartouches de Repeater Ammo. Des munitions de répétition Regular, High Velocity, Split Point, Express et Explosive peuvent y être chargées. Son prix affiché est de 135 $, et elle peut transporter jusqu'à 400 cartouches.

Parmi les fusils à répétition, le Lancaster inflige les dégâts les plus faibles. Il compense par une grande précision et une cadence de tir rapide, ce qui en fait une arme polyvalente pour les tirs soutenus. Son rechargement est plus lent que celui de la Carbine, malgré son cycle rapide entre les tirs. Le jeu l'utilise comme fusil à répétition pour tirer rapidement à la suite les types de munitions de répétition disponibles.

Micah Bell donne le Lancaster Repeater à Arthur durant "An American Pastoral Scene". Après cette mission, il est vendu par les armuriers si Arthur le perd. Un autre Lancaster peut être récupéré dans une caisse d'armes au sous-sol de l'armurier de Rhodes, après avoir aperçu la victime de l'enlèvement par la fenêtre du sous-sol située à droite du magasin et avoir cambriolé le sous-sol. Dans Red Dead Online, il est disponible auprès des armuriers ou via le Handheld Catalog, les commandes du catalogue étant récupérables auprès d'un cheval, d'un Post Office ou d'un Camp.

Anecdotes

◆The rifle is based on the Winchester Model 1866 "Yellow Boy" carbine.
◆Though the Model 1866 might seem to be an odd choice in 1899, the rifle was extremely popular and produced in high volume from its introduction until 1898.
◆Customizing the gun at the gunsmith in-game to give it an iron frame makes the rifle look like a Winchester Model 1873.
◆In 1899, John Marston can be seen with a unique version that is iron-plated and has a Rosewood varnish. It is often strapped over his left shoulder, and he can be seen using it in combat at various times. However, the weapon is omitted from his inventory when he is playable, except during the mission "Jim Milton Rides, Again?". The customization appears to be a nod to the Winchester Repeater from Red Dead Redemption, where John was the protagonist.
◆In some cases, the player may be able to get two Lancaster Repeaters in their inventory. If they acquire the weapon prior to the mission "An American Pastoral Scene", the player can end up with two Lancaster Repeaters stored on their horse as a result of a glitch.
◆This glitch can be exploited by the player to have both Arthur's and John's individual Lancasters in the Epilogue by simply customizing one of the two Lancasters to look like John's.
