Arthur retrouve Micah Bell à Monto's Rest, près de Strawberry. Micah a appris qu'une diligence bancaire doit traverser la région et demande à Arthur de l'aider à la voler, en guise de remboursement pour l'évasion de Strawberry. Arthur enfourche son cheval et traverse Big Valley avec lui. Leur conversation devient vite hostile lorsqu'ils se disputent au sujet du talent de Micah pour attirer les ennuis et de la menace que représentent les O'Driscolls.
Sur une crête surplombant la route, Arthur et Micah attendent la diligence. Lorsqu'elle apparaît, ils descendent l'intercepter et ouvrent le feu sur le conducteur et les gardes armés. Une fois l'escorte éliminée, ils s'emparent de la diligence. Micah prend les rênes et donne à Arthur un Lancaster Repeater, puis conduit le véhicule volé loin du lieu de l'embuscade.
Près de la Dakota River, des O'Driscolls tentent de s'emparer de la diligence, abattant un arbre en travers de la route et attaquant depuis les environs. De la dynamite détruit la diligence et projette Arthur et Micah dans la rivière. Ils ripostent depuis la berge jusqu'à ce que les O'Driscolls survivants prennent la fuite. Devant la diligence renversée, Arthur tire sur le coffre-fort pour l'ouvrir, puis Micah et lui se partagent l'argent.

Anecdotes
- ◆It is possible to obtain a Lancaster Repeater from the guards before Micah gives the weapon to Arthur. This way the player will have two Lancaster Repeaters in their weapon inventory.
- ◆If the player strays too far from Micah during both shootouts they will be killed with one shot, no matter their health.
- ◆If the player neglects to shoot the coach's lock, Micah will do it himself after expressing his impatience.
- ◆After the mission ends, staying next to the river too long will trigger a response from the law.
- ◆In this mission, the Lancaster Repeater makes a different noise than it does during free roam.
- ◆Micah's belief that Dutch thinks Arthur is a "big shadow cast by a tiny tree", is possibly a reference to the Abraham Lincoln quote, "Character is like a tree and reputation like its shadow. The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing."
- ◆One of the stagecoach guards will have a Liberty Hat but there is also one with a Farmer Hat.
- ◆The player can get 2 Lancaster repeaters if they have robbed the basement of Rhodes Gunsmith and have looted the weapon case prior to the mission.
- ◆This is one of the many missions where the player can obtain Micah's Revolver early.
- ◆This is the only Chapter 2 mission that can be done in Chapter 3. However, the furthest the player can wait to do this mission is before the mission "Advertising, The New American Art".
