Trevor arriva fuori dalla casa di Josh Bernstein su West Eclipse Boulevard, a Rockford Hills. Un Police Interceptor è parcheggiato nella proprietà mentre Josh parla con due agenti del Los Santos Police dell'uomo che ha dato fuoco alla sua casa. Quando Trevor si avvicina, sente Josh descrivere il colpevole. Josh lo nota e identifica Trevor come l'uomo responsabile dei danni.
Trevor protesta, sostenendo che sia stato Josh ad assumerlo per farlo, ma Josh cambia versione. Chiama Trevor uno stalker e un Epsilonist, portando gli agenti ad accettare la sua accusa. I due poliziotti estraggono le pistole e le puntano contro Trevor. Josh lascia Trevor da solo ad affrontare la polizia.
Trevor riesce a sottrarsi agli agenti e fugge da Rockford Hills mentre la polizia lo cerca. Può regolare i conti con Josh prima di lasciare la zona, oppure abbandonarlo dopo il tradimento. L'incontro termina quando Trevor semina la polizia.

- ◆Committing any crimes in the vicinity of the police officers will result in an immediate two-star wanted level, even after committing one-star crimes such as hijacking a vehicle.
- ◆The police officers will not react to crimes committed by civilians, such as assaults on the player. If the player is being chased and gets close enough to trigger the dialogue, the hostile NPC will flee.
- ◆The encounter does not appear if playing as Michael or Franklin, but if the player leaves Michael of Franklin at the site of the encounter, then quickly returns as Trevor and swaps characters, Josh will take off running and the police officers will begin walking away together. The Police Cruiser will be left unlocked and they will not care if the player takes it.
- ◆Killing Josh is most likely canon due to the gold medal objectives.
