Dopo aver recuperato tutti i 30 Submarine Pieces, Michael torna da Abigail Mathers al Sonar Collections Dock di Paleto Cove. Abigail lo ringrazia per aver completato la ricerca, ma Michael la incalza sulla morte di Frank Mathers e sulla possibilità che le camere di compensazione del sottomarino siano state sabotate. Abigail attribuisce i danni alla normale usura, poi si innervosisce quando Michael menziona un messaggio su uno dei pezzi, secondo cui qualcuno aveva manomesso le camere di compensazione.

Abigail sostiene che il messaggio potrebbe essere stato scritto dall'ex moglie di Frank, definendola rancorosa, ma Michael rimane sospettoso. Abigail ammette che la situazione è strana e suggerisce nervosamente che la polizia possa essere coinvolta, tirando in ballo l'FIB. Comincia ad allontanarsi dal molo prima che Michael le ricordi di non essere ancora stato pagato per il suo lavoro.

Abigail dà a Michael $10 e una fotografia autografata di Frank. Michael getta la fotografia in mare. Abigail si allontana a piedi verso il parcheggio, e Michael deve decidere se lascerà Paleto Cove viva o se morirà al molo.

Curiosità

  • ◆The $10 received for completing this mission is the lowest monetary reward in the entire series. Furthermore, the 'Earned from Strangers and Freaks' stat under the Cash section of the statistics does not acknowledge the award.
  • ◆Michael's private car will spawn on the dock during this mission. This is likely a glitch, because the car will be stranded here, unless you conveniently have a Cargobob to get it out.
  • ◆When the player approaches the dock before triggering the mission, Abigail's Asea is locked. If the player kills her while she leaves but before she gets into the car, it will be unlocked and free to take. This mission is one of the rare appearances of said vehicle in the original version of the game (Xbox 360 & PS3).
  • ◆Although the submarine pieces can be collected by any protagonist, this mission is exclusive to Michael.
  • ◆When the mission ends, there will be instructions on screen to view mission completion details. This function is glitched and the instructions have no effect.
  • ◆This mission is not listed on the Grand Theft Auto V Checklist found on the Rockstar Games website.
