Arthur incontra Dutch van der Linde su una stretta sporgenza ad Arroyo de la Vibora. Con una torcia in mano, avanzano lungo la scogliera verso una grotta mentre Dutch afferma che la banda dovrebbe tornare a Saint Denis una volta fuggita da Guarma. Arthur dubita del piano. All'interno, Dutch paga la donna del posto Gloria con un lingotto d'oro affinché li guidi attraverso il passaggio. Esprime inoltre sospetti su come John Marston sia stato catturato mentre Abigail Roberts è riuscita a fuggire dopo la rapina alla banca di Saint Denis.
Presso una scala, Gloria pretende altro denaro e sfodera un coltello quando Dutch non riesce a pagare. Dutch la disarma e la strangola a morte. Arthur è sconvolto da ciò che vede e affronta Dutch mentre risalgono vicino ad Aguasdulces. Da un riparo, osservano gli uomini di Colonel Fussar umiliare Javier Escuella, trascinato dietro un asino. Dutch e Arthur uccidono silenziosamente due guardie, ne nascondono i corpi ed entrano nella raffineria di zucchero di Fussar.
Sabotano la raffineria aprendo la valvola, tagliando i sacchi di zucchero e chiudendo le saracinesche. Dutch dà fuoco alla fornace e l'esplosione che ne segue allontana le guardie. I due corrono da Javier, lo liberano dalla gabbia e si fanno strada combattendo fuori dal complesso. Dutch trasporta Javier privo di sensi attraverso i campi di zucchero mentre Arthur respinge gli inseguitori. Presso un ruscello, Dutch conduce Javier verso Cinco Torres e ordina ad Arthur di ritardare i soldati rimasti. Arthur uccide gli inseguitori, poi si ritira a La Capilla.

- ◆Depending on Arthur's honor, there will be slightly different dialogue between him and Dutch after Gloria is killed:
- ◆If Arthur's honor is high, he will remind Dutch that he keeps killing people and asks if he will strangle him next after they climb outside.
- ◆If Arthur's honor is low, he will simply ask if Dutch is alright and that the gang have probably all gone rotten.
- ◆Oddly, neither Dutch nor Arthur stop to retrieve the gold bar stolen from the Saint Denis bank following Gloria's death.
- ◆If the player returns to Gloria, they will find that she cannot be looted despite the minimap showing her dead.
- ◆If the player vaults the wall they face upon exiting the refinery, they can freely explore the entire Guarma area without failing the mission as long they don't produce any noise through firepower.
- ◆If the player tries to shoot at Fussar or any of his soldiers after the cutscene plays, the mission will fail and there will be another cutscene where Javier gets killed by the guards. Even if the player manages to kill all the guards using trainers or external scripts, two guards will spawn to shoot Javier, leading to a failure.
- ◆If "Savagery Unleashed" is done before this mission, Arthur will tell Dutch that the situation with the workers is done with. If done before "Savagery Unleashed", Dutch will ask Arthur if he saved the workers in which Arthur will say he will afterwards.
- ◆If the player tries to return to the entrance of the cave system that Arthur and Dutch use at the beginning of the mission after the mission's completion, they will be shot by an invisible sniper while they try to make their way across the extended narrow ledge that leads to the cave entrance.
- ◆After completing the mission, if the player returns to Aguasdulces and climbs back down the ladder at the end point of the tunnel system, Gloria's body will have vanished, while the metal gate that Dutch and Arthur open during the mission will once again be firmly locked.
- ◆If "Savagery Unleashed" is completed before this mission, the mission "Hell Hath No Fury" will start automatically.
