Il Carbine Repeater è un fucile a ripetizione in Red Dead Redemption 2 e Red Dead Online. Chiamato anche Buck Carbine, contiene sette colpi nel caricatore tubolare montato nel calcio e utilizza Repeater Ammo. Supporta le varianti Regular, High Velocity, Split Point, Express ed Explosive. Le sue mire metalliche sono adatte al tiro a distanza ravvicinata e media, mentre è possibile montare un mirino per l'uso da tiratore scelto. Il fucile viene usato per la caccia e per gli scontri a media distanza.

Arthur Morgan riceve gratuitamente il Carbine Repeater durante "Old Friends", nelle missioni tutorial iniziali. Dopo quella missione, ogni gunsmith lo vende per $90, e può anche essere sottratto alle persone uccise incontrate nel mondo di gioco. In Red Dead Online, il protagonista ne riceve uno all'inizio del gioco. Può anche essere ordinato tramite l'Handheld Catalog e ritirato da un cavallo, da un Post Office o dal Camp.

Il Carbine Repeater è concepito come un repeater bilanciato anziché come un'arma specializzata. Ha danni medi, una buona cadenza di fuoco e una precisione superiore a quella di una pistola standard. Tra i repeater, i suoi danni sono secondi soltanto a quelli del Litchfield Repeater, ma la sua capacità di sette colpi è inferiore a quella del Lancaster Repeater e del Litchfield Repeater. Il caricatore tubolare ricarica tutti e sette i colpi contemporaneamente, garantendogli una delle ricariche più rapide del gioco.

◆The Buck Carbine Repeater is based on the Spencer Model 1860 Carbine.
◆This is the most common longarm to be used by various NPCs. In real life, however, it was considered fairly obsolete compared to newer models by the time of Red Dead Redemption 2.
◆It also appears to be the standard longarm for the Van der Linde gang along with the Lancaster Repeater, with those on camp guard duty always using those weapons. Sadie Adler has a custom version in blackened steel with a yellowish wrap around the stock. Sheriff Thomas can be seen using the same repeater in "A Quick Favor for an Old Friend". Uncle can also be seen holding the repeater at the end of "The Tool Box".
◆Given that the weapon is given to the player from the start, it is impossible to “View” the weapon from Gunsmith catalogue and hear their dialogues.
◆In Red Dead Online, Bonnie MacFarlane can be seen holding this weapon as she is sitting down and wiping it with Gun Oil.
◆It is possible to hear Gunsmith's unique dialogue for the Carbine Repeater during the mission "The Wheel" if you choose to go to any gunsmith before delivering the goods to Pronghorn Ranch.
