في Vinewood Hills، يصادف Franklin كلب Labrador Retriever ينبح، فيتبعه عبر درب ترابي. يقوده الكلب إلى Dom Beasley، المعلّق من شجرة بمظلته المتشابكة فوق Sisyphus Theater. ينزل Franklin Dom. يتفاجأ Dom حين يسمع أن كلباً قاد Franklin إلى هناك، إذ لا يملك كلباً، وقد اختفى الحيوان. يتصل Dom بطيار مروحيته ويقنع Franklin بالانضمام إليه.
يتبع Franklin Dom إلى المروحية ويصعد إليها معه. ينقلهما الطيار من Vinewood Hills إلى Mount Chiliad، حيث يقفز Dom وFranklin من الطائرة ويهبطان بالمظلتين نحو منطقة الهبوط المحددة على الجبل. بعد وصوله إلى الأرض، يأخذ Franklin إحدى دراجات Scorcher المنتظرة. يصل Dom على دراجة أخرى ويتحداه في سباق منحدر.
يتسابق Franklin مع Dom هبوطاً عبر مسارات ومنحدرات Mount Chiliad الضيقة على دراجة Scorcher. وعندما يصلان إلى خط النهاية، يقترح Dom أن يخوضا مغامرات أكثر خطورة معاً. يبقى Franklin عند سفح Mount Chiliad، وتصبح قفزات المظلة متاحة في أنحاء الولاية.

- ◆The dog is an obvious reference to the fictional Border Collie, Lassie, due to Franklin's ability to understand the animal, more so to help someone in distress.
- ◆No formal explanation is given for the dog or its abilities, leaving players to form their own conclusions about its nature.
- ◆Franklin mentions in the mission that he respects gravity, a subtle nod to his predecessor Carl Johnson, who at times screams "I HATE GRAVITY!" when he falls from a great height.
