Risk Assessment

In Vinewood Hills, Franklin comes across a barking Labrador Retriever and follows it down a dirt trail. The dog leads him to Dom Beasley, suspended from a tree by his tangled parachute above the Sisyphus Theater. Franklin gets Dom down. Dom is surprised to hear that a dog brought Franklin there, since he has no dog, and the animal has vanished. Dom calls his helicopter pilot and persuades Franklin to join him.

Franklin follows Dom to the helicopter and boards it with him. The pilot carries them from Vinewood Hills to Mount Chiliad, where Dom and Franklin jump from the aircraft and parachute toward the marked landing area on the mountain. After reaching the ground, Franklin takes one of the waiting Scorcher bikes. Dom arrives on another bike and challenges him to a downhill race.

Franklin races Dom down Mount Chiliad's narrow trails and slopes on the Scorcher. When they reach the finish, Dom suggests that they take on more dangerous outings together. Franklin remains at the bottom of Mount Chiliad, and parachute jumps become available across the state.
