Scorcher

The PED Cycles Scorcher is a single-seat hardtail mountain bike built for off-road riding. It has a sturdy frame, front suspension, disc brakes, black handlebars with a front light, and a black saddle with a red reflector. Frame, fork and tyre markings include "Scorcher" and "XRK Bikes". It can appear with or without black mudguards, and is commonly red, yellow or green. Purchased bikes use black front shocks.

The Scorcher is quicker than ordinary bicycles, with only the Tri-Cycles, Whippet and Endurex race bikes ahead of it. Its rugged tyres grip dirt well and let it climb very steep slopes better than other bikes. It can bunny hop and wheelie, though its weight makes these moves less effective than on the BMX. It is the second heaviest bicycle, behind only the Cruiser.

In Grand Theft Auto V, Pedal and Metal Cycles sells it for $1,000. It appears around Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness, Paleto Forest, Vespucci Beach, Rockford Hills, Mirror Park and Del Perro, as well as by El Gordo Lighthouse and at the Pala Springs Aerial Tramway rentals. Michael may arrive home on one with Jimmy. It is used in Daddy's Little Girl, Did Somebody Say Yoga?, Exercising Demons, Risk Assessment and the Bike Robbery event. In Grand Theft Auto Online, it costs $2,000 from Pedal and Metal Cycles and may appear in the same areas or on Sandy Shores' wind turbine tracks.
