عن هذه المركبة

تُعد HVY Cutter آلة حفر أنفاق صناعية في Grand Theft Auto V، وقد صُممت كآلة متنقلة لحفر الأنفاق بدلاً من شاحنة تقليدية. يحمل هيكلها الأصفر مجموعة حفر كبيرة في المقدمة، مزودة بأذرع مفصلية وخمس وحدات شفرات دائرية. تقع الكابينة إلى يسار الهيكل الرئيسي، بينما تستخدم عجلاتها الصناعية إطارات عميقة النقشة وعجلات مزدوجة على المحور الأمامي. تصميمها أصلي، رغم أنه يستلهم آلة خيالية مشابهة ظهرت في فيلم صدر عام 1995.

تُعد Cutter مركبة بطيئة وثقيلة، وهي أثقل من Dozer لكنها أخف من Dump. يتيح التوجيه بالعجلات الخلفية لها تنفيذ انعطافات ضيقة، لكن ضخامة حجمها تجعل التنقل في الأماكن المغلقة صعباً وقد تفقد السيطرة أثناء الانعطاف. يشغل محركها المثبت في الخلف جميع العجلات ويصدر النغمة الصناعية المنخفضة المرتبطة بالشاحنات الثقيلة. لا تعمل شفرات الحفر، لكن لوحة الحفر الأمامية قادرة على سحق المركبات وإتلاف الإطارات وتشويه الهياكل ودفع العوائق جانباً.

لا تُستخدم Cutter إلا خلال Obvious Approach في The Big Score. بعد تموضع Michael ورجل السلاح المختار، يتولى Franklin قيادتها ويتجه بها إلى Union Depository. يفعّل معدات الحفر لشق نفق نحو الخزنة. خارج تلك المهمة، لا يمكن الحصول على المركبة بالوسائل التقليدية. تظهر Cutter غير عاملة أيضاً على Army Trailer خلال Driller، حيث تنقلها Packer.

معلومات طريفة

◆The Cutter cannot destroy solid/non-destructible parts of map, so if the player manage to obtain one, it won't drill anything or won't even slice a car, this is because the wall from the Union Depository was scripted to be destroyed.
◆Unlike other construction vehicles, the Cutter lacks a radio, first person view, or cinematic view, just like the Submersible, these two, along with the Tractor, are the only three motor vehicles that lacks a radio. It still lacks a first person view in the enhanced version of GTA V, that makes the Cutter one of the few vehicles in the enhanced version that lack a true first person view.
◆Despite not having a first person view in the enhanced version of the game, the vehicle still features a functioning speedometer and tachometer.
◆While the Cutter is referred to as a tunnel boring machine, more realistic-looking tunnel boring machines can also be seen in the game, as seen here.
◆Despite being available for only a brief segment in GTA V, the player will still be able to honk the horn when drilling underground.
