يستند Alligator إلى التمساح الأمريكي، Alligator mississippiensis، وهو زاحف كبير ذو حراشف خضراء وذيل طويل وفم عريض وعينين بارزتين. يعيش في المستنقعات وبلاد دلتا الأنهار في Bayou Nwa. يظهر التمساح الأمريكي العادي والصغير كنسختين منفصلتين، لكل منهما مدخل خاص في السجل، لكنهما ينتميان إلى النوع نفسه.
بصفته مفترسا في قمة السلسلة الغذائية، يتغذى التمساح على الأسماك والطيور والبرمائيات والثدييات. تجعل صفائح جسمه المدرعة منه حيوانا خطيرا عن قرب، ويمكنه قتل شخص بسرعة بإمساك جذعه بفكيه والتخبط به. وعلى الرغم من حجمه، تستطيع طلقات البندقية اختراق جلده وصفائحه المدرعة.

- ◆When on land, alligators will normally bite the player's leg before performing their kill strike, allowing the player to flee. This only happens in the player walks into the alligator. If the alligator's charge mechanic is initiated, they will instantly kill the player upon catching them.
- ◆Shooting at or near an alligator when they're basking will make them flee towards water. Chasing them while they flee will make them turn around and attack. Shooting them while they're threatening the player will make them attack.
