طائر Parakeet هو ببغاء كارولاينا، Conuropsis carolinensis، طائر صغير نادر في Red Dead Redemption 2. يستند إلى ببغاء كارولاينا ويتغذى على الشجيرات والبذور وثمار أشجار الغابات. يمتزج ريشه الأخضر مع العشب المحيط بالمستنقعات، ويمكنه التحليق بسرعة. يمكن لـ Bow مع Small Game Arrows إسقاطه.
توجد طيور Parakeet في غرب Bayou Nwa، ولا سيما حول Bayall Edge وHagen Orchards. كما تظهر قرب Tiny Church شمال Lakay، وعلى طول الشاطئ الشمالي لـ Hagen Orchards، وفي الجزر الأكبر شرق Shady Belle، وحول كتابات مناطق Lemoyne وBayou Nwa. يستطيع كل من Arthur وJohn قتلها وجمع جثثها.
يمنح قتل Parakeet كلاً من Parakeet Feather وFlight Feather وExotic Bird Meat وParakeet Carcass، ويمكن بيعها للتجار. يؤدي قتل الطائر الأول إلى خسارة Honor وبدء سجل للأنواع المهددة بالانقراض. بعد قتل 15 طائراً، تصبح أعدادها أكثر ندرة. إكمال قتل 25 طائراً ينهي السجل، ويوثق أن النوع قد أُبيد، ويضيف رسماً لـ Parakeet إلى اليوميات. لا يُطلب هذا الطائر من أجل Skin Deep أو Zoologist.

- ◆The Carolina parakeet had become rare by the middle of the 19th century. The last confirmed sighting of one in the wild was in 1910. The last captive surviving individual, a male named Incas, died at Cincinnati Zoo in 1918. In 1939, the species was declared extinct.
- ◆The Parakeet Extinction mission closes after 25 are killed and the bird no longer appears.
- ◆If the player only kills 24 of the parakeets, only 1 of them will spawn the next time the bird is encountered.
