Curtis Malloy هو شريف Valentine، يحافظ على النظام انطلاقا من مكتب شريف البلدة بمساعدة نوابه. يحمل ندوبا ويتسم بالصرامة، ويعامل خرق القانون كإهانة شخصية، ويشرف على اعتقالات البلدة وزنازينها وإعداماتها العلنية. يتعامل Arthur Morgan معه للمرة الأولى عبر لوحة المكافآت خارج مكتبه، حيث يعلق Malloy أوامر القبض على Benedict Allbright وEllie Anne Swan. وعندما يحضر Arthur السجينين، يتولى Malloy حراستهما ويقول لاحقا إنه يعلّق أعمال المكافآت الأخرى ليركز على المشاكل في Valentine نفسها.

- ◆According to the bartender at Smithfield's, the town's crooked stockyard auctioneer, Morris Peyton, bribes Malloy to ignore his illegal purchases of stolen livestock from rustlers.
- ◆Malloy appears to have two family members named Molly and Victoria (Victoria was his mother, as stated on her tombstone), who passed away. Their graves can be found by the Valentine church.
- ◆Unlike many other NPCs, Malloy's appendages cannot be shot off.
- ◆If the player enters the sheriff's office to report the Killer Prostitute, a glitch may occur where Sheriff Malloy and his deputy can be seen sitting in the same chair, but only one of them will respond to the player and they will have the same voice.
- ◆Malloy will sometimes refer to the Valentine Sheriff's Office as the New Hanover Sheriff's Office.
- ◆A letter from Moira can be looted from Curtis Malloy. In this letter, Moira writes that she is increasingly worried about their affair being found out and that she wants to end their relationship, while also belittling him.

- ◆According to Malloy, the "Valentine Curse" is nonsense.
- ◆After the mission "The Sheep and the Goats", Malloy can be heard saying that he blames Cornwall for bringing all the trouble to his town.
