في Shady Belle، يطلب Simon Pearson من Arthur Morgan مرافقته إلى المستنقعات القريبة من المخيم للبحث عن جراد البحر. ينضم Arthur إلى Pearson في قارب، ويجدف الرجلان شرقاً عبر Bayou Nwa في Lemoyne حتى يبلغا خط الأشجار.

- ◆You can also kill the gators instead of waiting for Pearson to distract them. They will charge at the player so you may need special ammo to kill them quickly. Pearson will be angry and wait for you at the boat, however the mission will still proceed as though you followed Pearson's instructions.
- ◆If you have completed Algernon Wasp's mission "Duchesses and other Animals" which involves collecting gator eggs, Arthur will note they have met already.
- ◆The player can collect up to 11 gator eggs, but at the end of the mission, one will automatically be given to Pearson from their collection.
