Player notes

At Shady Belle, Simon Pearson asks Arthur Morgan to accompany him into the swamps near camp and look for crayfish. Arthur joins Pearson in a boat, and the two men row east through Bayou Nwa in Lemoyne until they reach the tree line.

They leave the boat and Pearson leads Arthur through the swamp. Arthur searches the shallows and gathers crayfish while Pearson waits nearby. Once they have found enough, Pearson spots alligators in the area and proposes taking eggs from their nests.

Pearson draws the alligators away so Arthur can search the surrounding ground for gator eggs. Arthur collects the eggs, returns to the boat with Pearson, and rows back through the bayou to Shady Belle. At camp, Arthur gives Pearson one of the gator eggs.

Trivia

  • โ—†You can also kill the gators instead of waiting for Pearson to distract them. They will charge at the player so you may need special ammo to kill them quickly. Pearson will be angry and wait for you at the boat, however the mission will still proceed as though you followed Pearson's instructions.
  • โ—†If you have completed Algernon Wasp's mission "Duchesses and other Animals" which involves collecting gator eggs, Arthur will note they have met already.
  • โ—†The player can collect up to 11 gator eggs, but at the end of the mission, one will automatically be given to Pearson from their collection.
