Vice City International Airport

Vice City International Airport, also known as VCI and VCIA, serves Vice-Dale County, Leonida. It lies in an unincorporated area on the mainland side of Vice City, near the city centre. The airport occupies a large site with highway links and hotels nearby. Its facilities include tarmac, hangars and an automated transit system for travel around the airport.

The airport's radar and control towers appear behind the Vice City Sign in the first official trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI. Vice City International Airport takes its name, location and design from Miami International Airport. Its control tower follows the design of Miami International Airport's tower, while the automated transit system is based on that airport's peoplemover.

References from before 2008 connect VCIA with flights and security in the wider HD Universe. A tourist in Broker says he paid VCIA security a fortune to smuggle a crocodile to Liberty City. In 2008, a Liberty Tree article reports that a drunk Air Sol pilot nearly kills 200 passengers on a flight from Vice City to Francis International Airport.
