Emperor

The Albany Emperor is a full-size four-door sedan with room for four people. It first takes this sedan form in Grand Theft Auto IV, where Albany gives it the shape of a boxy American luxury car from the 1980s. Its body uses a small front grille, four square headlamps, extensive chrome trim and a broad rear section, while its cabin is shared with the Esperanto.

Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online retain the Emperor's overall profile, but alter several details. The chrome mesh grille becomes a black eggcrate grille, the lower grille is widened, and the side mirrors receive a black finish. The white-wall tires are removed. These changes give the returning sedan a less luxurious appearance than the GTA IV version, though it keeps the same wheel design and colour distribution.

The Emperor is due to return in Grand Theft Auto VI. Official material, including the second trailer and screenshots, shows the Albany sedan several times with updated badging and a new interior. The publicly shown vehicle remains a four-door sedan in the Sedans class, with space for four occupants.
