  • โ—†Elmer shares a head model with Eli Brockman, Mitch Harper, Errol Buckmaster, Wes Quinley, Orpheus Billingsly and Elward Swann.
  • โ—†His surname is an old slang term for an attractive or beautiful person.
  • โ—†His first name could be a small tongue-in-cheek reference to the Looney Tunes character, Elmer Fudd, given the character's appearance.
  • โ—†In Undead Nightmare, he appears to be the most levelheaded of the three survivors defending the town, as can be seen when Marston is out of ammo but attempts to resupply the survivors anyway; while Orison will panic and Grover will insult and shout at Marston in anger, Elmer remains calm and focused.
  • โ—†Unlike other gunsmiths, he doesn't carry a gun on his person and will actually flee from Marston should they attempt to rob or assault him.

When the 4th time comes, Elmer will be directly in the way of the armored truck, therefore getting run over. This will not cause the player to fail the mission.
